The International Association of Women will host a panel of experts and networking opportunity in Kansas City.
The International Association of Women is an organization that connects women through events, programs, content and resources, providing opportunities for community and collaboration.
On July 21 at 6pm at Hotel Kansas City, this event will feature a panel of experts discussing "Developing Your Self-Advocacy Skills." The conversation will cover topics such as:
- Why it's so difficult for women to feel comfortable advocating for themselves.
- Areas women are being set back by not self-advocating
- Ways to overcome and get comfortable advocating for yourself.
The panel will feature 3 experts from the Kansas City area:
- Ajia Morris, Co-Founder & CEO, The Greenline Initiative
- Amanda LaFerriere, Head of Product, C2FO
- Aaron Fulk, Founder & CEO of Lillian James Creative
IAW President Megan Bozzuto will be visiting the Kansas City local chapter and will be present at the event to welcome members. Bozzuto says, "We are excited to be returning to in-person networking events and I look forward to fostering new connections in Kansas City."
