Marsha Pratt Phillips has had a lifelong passion for writing, nurtured by her mother's encouragement and emphasis on reading. Starting with her first poem, "Loving You," penned in 1976, Marsha discovered the power of expressing herself through words. Her talents continued to flourish, and in 1987, her poem "The Search" was published in the National Poetry Anthology “Days of Future Past.”
In addition to her writing pursuits, Marsha embarked on a new journey by creating a College Ministry Program that was successfully implemented in two churches in Houston, Texas. This program aims to guide and support college students, providing them with the tools and knowledge to navigate the challenges of higher education while maintaining a strong connection with their faith.
Marsha holds a Master's degree in Conflict & Dispute Resolution and has undergone extensive training as a mediator specializing in Child Protective Services. She is also a skilled notary signing agent and works with various consultant companies, utilizing her mediation services whenever required.
Marsha's exceptional storytelling abilities shine through her writing under Spratt Productions, often using the pseudonym 'Whispering Willow.' Through her writing, she strives to captivate readers with engaging stories and narratives.
As a mediator, Marsha's key responsibility is to help individuals and parties involved in conflicts reach mutually beneficial resolutions. She aims to guide them beyond the challenges and lead them to a place of understanding and possible resolution. While this is challenging, Marsha remains dedicated to helping people discover their possibilities and find win-win solutions.
Marsha's future goals include dedicating her retirement years to writing her four books and sharing her stories with the world. She also plans to continue her consultancy work, using her mediation skills and expertise to assist organizations in achieving positive outcomes.
Marsha Pratt Phillips holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Houston Downtown and obtained her Paralegal Certification from the Southwestern Paralegal Institute in 1986.
