Vickie's journey in the education industry began as a substitute teacher after a career change. Her first experience in the classroom ignited a deep love and passion for teaching, which prompted her to alter her career plans and pursue certification as a teacher. With 17 years of invaluable experience in the classroom, Vickie boldly decided to launch TEACH Educational Consulting, LLC, where she continues to impact the educational landscape.
As an educational consultant for the past seven years, Vickie’skey responsibilities are assessing learning needs, styles, and climates. Drawing upon her extensive expertise, she designs tailored learning programs that empower her clients to achieve their desired outcomes. Vickie's exceptional skill sets in communication, creative program design, interpersonal coaching, and learning support enable her to identify and address the core needs of her clients effectively. Through her personalized approach, she develops unique programming that caters to individual needs and goals.
In her career, Vickie finds the most rewarding aspect to be witnessing the transformation and growth of her clients as they engage with her innovative learning programs. Her dedication to designing effective learning programs is exemplified by her commitment to understanding the strictures of established organizational systems and finding ways to navigate them to create impactful educational experiences.
Looking ahead, Vickie set ambitious goals. She aspires to design a student-centered system of innovative learning that supports students, teachers, and schools. By revolutionizing the educational landscape, Vickie aims to create an environment that fosters growth, engagement, and success for all stakeholders.
Vickie Crockett's educational journey is marked by her exceptional academic achievements. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Literature specializing in African American texts and Political Science from Smith College. Additionally, she earned a Master of Science in Education with a focus on Curriculum and Instruction, as well as an Educational Specialist degree in Curriculum, Instruction, and Professional Development, both from Walden University. Vickie's commitment to academic excellence and her contributions to the field of education were recognized through her selection as a Fulbright Scholar at the University College Institute of Education in London. She also serves as a guest lecturer at the UCL Graduate Program for Teacher Education and mentors Fulbright Teacher Scholars as a board member of the Georgia Chapter of Fulbright.
