[Houston] - Iris Garcia, an accomplished professional with a diverse skill set, is making waves in two distinct fields: executive support services and culinary arts. With a passion for leadership, community empowerment, and culinary excellence, Iris is on a mission to create a lasting impact on the lives of those she serves.
Iris's journey into her current role was inspired by her early exposure to her mother's legal practice. At the age of 13, she began observing the day-to-day operations of a legal office, gaining valuable insights into administrative affairs, client interactions, and legal processes. This early experience laid the foundation for her future career in executive support services.
In addition to her role in executive support services, her grandmother, who often prepared meals for their large family, inspired Iris's love for cooking. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Iris shared her culinary skills by offering prepared meals to working families with children. Her meals quickly gained popularity in her community, leading to requests for private catering services for events ranging from intimate gatherings to city-wide occasions.
Iris's key responsibilities as an Internal Operations Manager include process optimization, resource management, team supervision, performance measurement, project management, quality control, and more. Her leadership and team management skills, coupled with effective communication, adaptability, and conflict resolution abilities, enable her to excel in this role.
One of the most rewarding aspects of Iris's career is connecting with people and their purposes. She thrives on networking and building relationships with other professional women in business. Iris finds immense satisfaction in giving back to organizations and communities with specific needs and aims to create positive change.
Looking ahead, Iris's future goals include creating a lasting legacy of wealth for future generations. She envisions this wealth providing income, stability, and refuge to families who understand the importance of giving back to society.
Iris holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and Operations from Abilene Christian University and is currently pursuing culinary school. She is also a certified Texas State Notary with over 15 years of experience and has been an ordained and licensed Pastor for over six years.
Beyond her professional achievements, Iris celebrates her personal journey of recognizing and embracing her worth, gifts, and skills without external validation. She empowers others to cultivate self-confidence and self-awareness, essential attributes for positive interactions, relationships, and overall well-being.
As Iris continues to nurture her growth and development, she remains committed to supporting and creating alliances with amazing women in business, united in their mission to rise together.
